Victoria was a miracle baby, and an amazing blessing from God to her parents, Kathy, and Tim Williams and to her twin brothers, Jonathan and Chase Williams. She was born on December 12, 1995, in Columbia, SC. She came into this world six weeks early, weighing in at only 4 pounds and 8 ounces. Due to her small size and early delivery, her Doctor placed her in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, (NICU) for an undetermined period of time. However, after two days in the NICU, it became obvious that Victoria was a fighter and the Doctor said she was a different baby and allowed her to go home with her new family on time. Her belief in God, her strength and her fighting spirit would serve her well as she faced many health problems during her early teen and adult years. She passed peacefully in her sleep on October 7, 2026, and was received into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus Christ.
Victoria loved God, her family, her friends, the Clemson Tigers and all her animals. She was an accomplished equestrian and hunter jumper for which she won numerous awards and ribbons. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Irmo. She graduated from Oak Point Elementary, Dutch Fork Middle, and Dutch Fork High School. She attended Midlands Technical College where she earned her Veterinarian Technician certificate. Victoria had a great love for animals, especially horses and dogs. She started her career at the Lexington Pet Lodge in Lexington, SC where she spent many happy years. She once said her job required her to relate to people and that she liked most people, but she loved animals. If she became aware of a dog that was in distress and needed love and a home, that dog would most likely be going home with her.
While in middle school, Victoria was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and was a cancer survivor. She struggled with celiacs disease and a multitude of auto immune related health issues that she diligently fought to overcome. Her struggles were real and at times they could be debilitating. She once stated that she tries not to worry because in John 13:7 Jesus told his disciples: “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand” . She also once stated: “When you feel like you are drowning in life, do not worry! Your life guard walks on water.” She is no longer in pain, nor does she struggle with her health, as she is in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who walks on the water and has fully revealed himself to her.
The last year of her life was spent in Locust North Carolina with her boyfriend Michael Thomas. She stated: “I’m the happiest I’ve been in a really long time.”
Victoria’s survivors include her boyfriend, Michael Thomas; parents, Tim and Kathy Williams; brothers, Jonathan Williams, (Charity), Chase Williams, (Grace); maternal grandparents, The Reverend Larry and Mrs. Brenda Shull; Uncle Larry and Aunt Candice Shull; numerous cousins; dogs – Kobe, Arlo, Keelo, (KeeKee), Hazel, Lexi, Sunshine and Lana.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Woody, and Orangie Williams; Uncle Ken and Aunt Sherry Lake; dog, Luna; horse, Latte.
