Sharon Ann St. Pierre Roush

Sharon St. Pierre Roush, 72, of Concord, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her home in Concord.

Sharon was born December 4, 1950 in Rhode Island to Victor Joseph St. Pierre and the late Barbara Mae (Andrews) St. Pierre.

She was a career Microbiologist/Safety Director, working for LabCorp for over 26 years. In addition to her career and love for her daughter, Sharon had a passion for history, art, and travel. Some of her favorite places that she visited were Paris, Ireland, Scotland, and various locales all over the United States. When she visited these places, she was fascinated by the history, architecture, and art of the area.

When she wasn't working or traveling, she could be found absorbed in a book, often historical in nature, with a glass of her favorite red wine. When not reading, she was listening to music by artists as varied as The Beatles, Dave Matthews Band, James Taylor, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and a long list of others.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 14th at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord officiated by family friend, Dr. Corey L. Gaston.

Survivors include daughter, Heather (Brian) Fesperman of Landis, NC, father, Victor Joseph St. Pierre, brothers, Mike (Trudy) St. Pierre and Jef (Cel) St. Pierre, sister Patti Llewellyn, nephews, Philip St. Pierre, Tony St. Pierre (and two grand nieces), and Jon (Sara) St. Pierre.
