Sharon Corl

Sharon Elaine Corl, 70, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.

Sharon was born August 13, 1951 in Rowan County to the late Bernie Allen Barringer and the late Alice Louise Barringer. In addition to her husband Jerry Lynn Corl, she was also preceded in death by brothers, William Douglas Barringer, Glen Barringer; sister, Frances Lorene B. Caudle.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Hartsell Funeral Homes of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022, at 11:00am, at Open Door Baptist Church in Richfield, officiated by Rev. Nathan Hammill. Burial will follow at the Open Door Baptist Church Cemetery at 24639-A Hwy. 49, Richfield, North Carolina.

Survivors include son, Michael Paul Corl of Salisbury, NC; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Corl; Brothers, Robert Ray Barringer of Albemarle, NC, Joseph Alonzo Barringer of Misenheimer, NC; grandson Chase Wedderburn; numerous nieces and nephews.
