Shane Michael Ferrier, Sr.

Shane Michael Ferrier Sr, 52, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center- Main in Charlotte.

Shane was born September 13, 1973, in Michigan to the late David and Betty Ferrier.

Shane was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and spending time with his dog and partner in crime, Chance.

He was also preceded in death by His brother. Shad Ferrier. His father-in-law, Thomas McKee (Old Man). His grandparents, Eugene and Carroll Weyant, Lee and Martha Perkins, and Glenn Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Tara Ferrier. His children, Savannah, Shane Jr, Zachary, and Cheyenne. His son-in-law, Christopher. Grandkids, Liam and Emma. Mothers in law, Deborah (Granny), and Debbie. Father-in-law, Teddy. Sister-in-law, Angie. Brothers in law, Mark and Travis. Many Nieces and Nephews.
