Sarah Faggart

Sarah Elizabeth Faggart, 80, of 5521 Cold Springs Rd. Concord passed away Monday, January 29, 2018.

Sarah was born October 9, 1937  to the late Kenneth Malcom Faggart and Edith Martha Bost Faggart.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Halleen  Lambert, Annie Lee Motley, Louise Faggart, and Rachel Faggart; three brothers, Kenneth Maurice Faggart, Frank Melvin Faggart, and W.G "Dub" Faggart.

Survivors include sister, Amnaris  Miller  and husband Jim of Kannapolis NC,  11 nieces and nephews, 13 great- nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. -7:00p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, January 31 ,2018.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018  at Cold Water Baptist Church, 1045 Union St. in Concord with the Reverend Jim Posey officiating. Sarah will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.   Burial will immediately  follow in the church cemetery.

Sarah worked for Kayser Roth Hosiery and later for Cabarrus County Schools.  She was a lifelong member of Cold Water Baptist Church in Concord.  She taught children in Sunday School, sang in the church choir, was a member of Baptist Women, and along with her sister, Annie Lee, was a leader of the G.A.'s.
