Sara Kidd

Sara Elizabeth Kidd, 89, of Concord, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Universal Healthcare. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 12:30 until 2 pm. Funeral Services will follow in the Concord Chapel at 2 pm, with Dr. Steve Ayers officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Kidd was born on December 12, 1923 in Mecklenburg County, to the late Ebenezer Bell and Bertha Douglas McCall. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Russell Theron Kidd and a daughter, Paula Jean. She is survived by her son, Charles Kidd and wife Lorraine of Concord; daughter, Dianne Kidd Weaver and husband Marion Thomas Weaver of Concord; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
