Samuel Janke

Samuel Janke, 76, of Concord, passed away on August 29, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. He was born on September 21, 1936 in Cass County, Michigan to the late David and Hedwig (Fredrick) Janke. Samuel worked as a Bus Driver for over 30 years. Samuel is survived by his loving spouse Faye Taylor Janke of the home; son, Wayne Knight of Concord and children, Conner Knight and Nicholas Knight; daughter, Pam Green and husband Chris Green of Concord and children, Christina Hyatt and Krystal Green; son, Rick Knight and wife Beth Wray Knight of Salisbury and children, A.J. Knight, Megan Wray, and Mary Wray. A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Steve Pennington, will be held at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 2:00pm Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Janke family.
