Samuel Hinson

Samuel "Jack" Harrison Hinson, 76 years of age, of Locust, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Brian Center in Salisbury.
Jack was born November 15, 1938 in Randolph County to the late Cletus Gardner Hinson and the late Ethel Ida Dehart Hinson. He was also preceded in death by wife, Mary Ruth Gay Hinson, and brother, Ronald Hinson.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM, Friday, June 19, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Locust. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the church officiated by Rev Tommy Ross.
Survivors include son, Durant Hinson of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Marilyn H. Meachum of Marshville; stepsons, Charles Meachum, Jr., and Matthew Meachum of Marshville; stepdaughter, Tina Meachum of Marshville, brothers, Cletus J. Hinson, and Donald Hinson both of Locust.
