Sadie Kennedy

Sadie Jane Kennedy, 84 years of age, of Gold Hill, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Sadie was born May 2, 1932 in Cabarrus County to the late William George Morgan and the late Thelma Jane Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kennedy; son, Steven Kennedy; brothers, Fred Morgan, Oscar Morgan; sister, Betty Roach.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, officiated by Rev. Roy Morgan. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include her brother, Ira Eugene (Peggy) Morgan; daughter, Kathy (Lester) Hall of Gold Hill; grandchildren, Amy (Roy) Morgan and Kim (Calvin) File, Jessica (Ashley) Goodman; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Morgan.
