Ruth Overcash
July 4, 1956 — September 11, 2014
Ruth Ann Cress Overcash, 58 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at her home.
She was born July 4, 1956 in Concord, NC to Robert and Ina Cress. Ruth was preceded in death by her father Robert in 2002, and her sister Cynthia Smith.
The funeral service will be held at World Christian Church, Kannapolis on Saturday, September 20 , 2014 at 4:00pm.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Timothy Dale Overcash; son, John Overcash; daughter Valerie Almond, and her mother Ina Cress, all of Concord. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Krystin Aaliyah Kee, Noah Robert Overcash, Jacob Reid Overcash and Hopelyn Annalise Overcash.
