Ruby Ball

Ruby Dianne Ball, 57 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at her residence in Albemarle. Ruby was born June 16, 1956 in New Jersey to the late Luther Benson Little, Sr. and the late Willie Loraine Hatley. She was also preceded in death by brother, Luther Benson Little II and sister, Patty Little. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am - 10:00 am, Friday, December 20, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Ron Loflin. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery, 331 Union Cemetery Road SW, Concord, NC 28027. She is survived by her daughter, Misty (Brian) Torbett; sons, Joe Furr and Tom Furr; sisters, Lois Little, Frances Mauldin, Mary Yarbrough, Tammy Measimer and Teresa Blackwelder; brothers, James Little, Benny Little, and Dennis Becker; numerous nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren, Jasper Furr, and Brenda, Bailey, and Thatcher Torbett. Ruby Dianne was loved greatly in life and will be missed deeply in death. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Troy, 120 North Main Street, Troy, NC 27371 .
