Rose Ewing Karban

Rose Ewing Karban, 69, of Locust, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Karban was born April 28, 1953, in San Diego, California to the late James Patrick Ewing and the late Marie Christopher Ewing. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Ewing.

Survivors include husband, Frederick J Karban of Locust, NC; son, Freddy Karban of Denver, CO; brother, Bobby Ewing; sisters, Sharon Fortino, Pattie Bareno, and Honor Garcia.

Rose Karban was a proud mother and wife, an avid lover of all animals, and a beautiful soul that shined her warm light on everyone she touched. Rose loved to cook, often recipes that were passed through the family over generations. She had a way of bringing everyone together to share love and friendship.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 2pm until 4pm at the VFW Post 6365, 1011 Meadow Creek Church Road, Locust, NC 28097.
