Ronald Leo Little, 77, of Monroe, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at Hospice House of Union County in Monroe. Mr. Little was born May 27, 1934 in Stanly County to the late Raymon Boyd Little and the late Mary Elizabeth Harkey Little. He was also preceded in death by his sister Danielle Griffin and his brothers Robert and Richard Little. He served in the 82nd Airborne of the U. S. Army. He worked as a foreman in construction and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Monroe. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Sunday, March 4, at Zion United Methodist Church of Monroe. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday with a 30 minute state prior to the service at Zion United Methodist officiated by Rev. David McCauley and Rev. Bruce League. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Edith Virginia Mullis Little, of the home; his son, Philip Little and his wife, Donna, of Moooresville; his daughter, Connie Little of Concord; his grandchildren, Jason Little, Rami Mihiar, and Tariq Mihiar; his brother, Raymon Little of Locust; and his sisters, Deanna Freeman of Locust, Dene Efird of Stanfield, Doris Moore of Mt.
