Robert "Bob" Tucker, Iii

Robert James "Bob" Tucker, 74, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County in Kannapolis.

Bob was born May 6, 1948, in North Carolina to the late Robert James Tucker Jr. and the late Edna Mae Riggsbee Tucker.
He was also preceded in death by cousin, Myrna M. Smith.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Dr. Kendell Cameron. Burial will immediately follow at the Fairview Memorial Park.

Survivors include cousins, Anne (Jim) Watkins of Boone, NC, John (Linda) Gaddy Jr. of Oakboro, NC, Teresa G. (Gene) Butner of Winston-Salem, NC, and David J. (Stacey) Mills of Charlotte, NC.

Bob was known to enjoy golfing in his younger days. He was UNC graduate and loved Tar Heels football and basketball. Bob loved cooking, spending time with his dogs - Jake and Chesney and a cat named Pick, and camping in his RV.
