Robert Ritchie Lee

Robert Ritchie Lee, 54, of Midland, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord after a long battle with cancer.

Mr. Lee was born July 29, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Robert Wayne Lee and Judy Elizabeth Freeman Lee. He was also preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Survivors include mother, Judy Elizabeth Freeman Lee of Midland, NC, sister, Lori White and husband ( Kenneth White ), Also surviving are his niece Lauren White and nephews Whilden White, Harrison White, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robert was a 1989 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. His favorite job was working in the entertainment industry. He set up and took down stages for many shows and artists who came to the area. He had the opportunity to drive many Hollywood actors and actresses around to movie sets. His proudest moment was being asked to play a small role in the movie Talladega Nights.

Robert loved his family, his friends, all his pets, fishing, watching the Atlanta Braves, and his church, Core Community Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Friday, February 6, 2026 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord and will be officiated by Rev. Ray Rivenbark and Rev. Doug Agnew. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery at 471 Church Street, Concord.
