Robert D. Miller

Robert D. Miller, 91, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at PruittHealth – Town Center in Harrisburg.

Mr. Miller was born February 11, 1934, in Vestal, New York, to the late William J. Miller and Peggy Burrell Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Lillie Miller; daughter, Valerie Butler; and sons, Jeff Butler and Robin Butler.

Robert was a devoted family man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan, a loyal supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, and took great pride in keeping his yard perfectly mowed. Those who knew him will remember his strong work ethic, quiet determination, and the love he had for his family. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.

Survivors include his daughters, Adele Lynn Ballard and husband Robert of Concord, NC; Michelle Horne; Marcia Burham; and his son, Dana Miller and wife Theresa. Also surviving are his grandchildren: grandsons, Corey Ballard, Tyler Miller, and Thomas Horne; granddaughters, Lauren Horne, Kelly Horne, Sarah Pfaff, and Amy Baker; and his great-granddaughters, Charlotte Pfaff and Brooke Miller.
