Robert Mcmanus

Robert Seth McManus, 97, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Transitional Healthcare. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. At other times the family will meet at the home. Robert was born on October 31, 1914, to the late Robert Buyan McManus and the late Hessie Albany McNeely McManus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Geneva Sides McManus; a son, Jerry Seth McManus; a granddaughter, Ginger Drye; a great-granddaughter; and ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by five daughters, Doris Bostian Talbert, Peggy Hatley Adams and Elaine Simpson of Concord, Hilda Utley and Emily Drye of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Donald McManus, Sr. and Robert McManus, Sr. of Concord; a brother, Charles McManus of Tradesville, SC; two sisters, Lattie Sutton of Pageland, SC and Blanche Smith of Columbia, SC. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the McManus family.
