Robert Lee Mason, 70 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Mason was born July 14, 1944 in Stanly County to the late Joe Lee Mason and the late Libby Wise Mason. He was also preceded in death by brother's, David Mason, Herman Mason, Hubert Mason, and Holbert Mason and also sister, Rose Mason,
A graveside service will be held at Aquadale Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Shirley Irene Mason of Oakboro; daughter, Misty (Brian) Jones of Oakboro; grandchildren, Alexis and Ethan Jones; brothers, Roy Mason and Walter Mason both of New London.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Mason family.
