Robert Dickens

Robert E. Dickens, 75 of Concord, passed away on Sunday, December 18th at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. The family will hold a memorial service in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. Robert was born on November 4, 1936, to the late Edmund Stanton Dickens and the late Mildred Wilson Dickens. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane Edwards Dickens of the home; a son, Michael Dickens and wife, Alice of Weddington; a daughter, Robin Primm and husband Rick of Waxhaw; two stepsons, Jennings Koontz and wife Lisa of Concord and John Koontz and wife Melissa of Concord; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Dickens family.
