Robert Deese

Robert Jessie Deese, 59, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Thomasville.

Robbie was born October 25, 1962 in North Carolina to Vivian Ann Deese and the late Robert Lee Deese.   He was also preceded in death by son, Kevin Prentice.
Robert was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many.  He enjoyed going fishing with his brothers and grandson at the beach.  And when he wasn’t fishing, he was curled up with his granddaughter watching cartoons.  One of Robert’s favorite pastimes was riding around in his Camaro with the top down, listening to Dan and Shay with his daughter Brandi.  Robert was very involved with his church family where his sister is the pastor whom he was very proud of.  When he wasn’t eating at What-a-Burger, he was enjoying home-cooked meals by his mother or his daughter Tasha. Robert loved spending time drawing with his eldest daughter Angel. He made it very well known that his prized possessions here on Earth were his three daughters and his son. Robert has gained his heavenly wings and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

Survivors include daughter, Tasha Schrimpsher of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Brandi Deese of Thomasville, NC; daughter, Angel Deese; mother, Vivian Ann Deese; brothers, Ricky and Mark Deese; sister, Debbie Lewis; and grandchildren, Garrett Laton and Riley Schrimpsher.

Celebration of life will be held at Eastside Freewill Baptist church in Concord, NC on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:00pm. His daughters request that instead of any flower arrangements you make a donation to his home church Eastside Freewill Baptist.
