Rev. David Davillo Walker

September 20, 1934 — November 9, 2025

Concord

Rev. David D. Walker known as “Little David” finished his earthly race with integrity on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 91. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on September 20, 1934. His life was full of miracles. At the age of 9, he received a 5 hour vision of heaven and was called to preach the gospel all over the world. He fulfilled that call as he began sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in over 80 countries and all over the United States. Each step was ordered by His Heavenly Father and proved to be full of miracles.

He was joined in his life of full time Christian ministry with his wife, Kathy for 66 years. They write in their life story book that “Little David” ministered, “From Red Square to Times Square, the Eiffel Tower to the Sydney Opera House, From the North Pole in Alaska to the tip of Southern Chile, From the South China Sea in Vietnam to the Black Sea of Romania. He ministered in prisons and held babies in orphanages. He was welcomed in Governor’s mansions and walked the slums of Haiti. From the green hills of Ireland to the blue Sea of Galilee, he truly lived out Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”

It would take several books to explain in detail all of the crusades, tent meetings, stadiums, and church services that he preached in his 82 years of ministry. You can visit www.biblemissionsinc.com to see more of his ministry. As a family, David, Kathy, and their three children traveled the country and the world to make sure all had an opportunity to learn about the saving grace one can have in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Later in life, when he was unable to keep up a traveling ministry, he mentored many evangelists, preachers, and missionaries through a weekly program, sermon research, encouraging phone conversations, and writing. If you are interested in his life story book, The Journey: Walking with the Walkers, please reach out to Kathy via their website.

His family grieves his absence, but they do not mourn as those without hope. They hold onto the promise that in Christ – death is not the end. As his mother would say, “Death is just the doorway to Heaven.” While David reached the finish line first, his last message before he reached his eternal home was “I’m going to heaven. Are you?”

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Walker of 66 years, their 3 children, Christy Gisinger (Jeff), Dave Walker, and Cindy Corl (Randy), and a sister, Esther Benward (Dan). He had 5 grandchildren – Emmie, Walker, and Patrick (Lily) Corl and Riley and Sydney Walker - and so many family members that he held dear – including his pal and good boy, Lucca – the family

pup. His family will remember the way that he always had a joke to play, his infectious laugh, and a song to sing. You always had to be careful if he was on the phone and you walked into the

room – you never knew who you might end up talking to after he handed you the phone. He loved to go fishing (deep sea or in a pond), he was known for his infamous snack drawer and

holiday themed poetry, and if you were traveling, you could always expect a “where are you now?” phone call.

The family would like to thank VIA Hospice and the Lake Norman team for their care, compassion, and love that they gave our amazing husband, dad, and Nandy.

The family plans to celebrate his incredible life on January 4, 2025 at The Burg Church in Harrisburg, NC at 4pm.
