Reba Tucker

Reba Morton Tucker, 91, of Locust, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Reba was born August 20, 1930 in North Carolina to the late Hugh Pembleton Morton and the late Lillie Ramelle Morton.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Grady Shuford Tucker, sister Jean Huneycutt, and son-in-law Mike Huneycutt.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Carolina Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 5:00 pm at Carolina Presbyterian Church in Locust officiated by Pastor Cory Colravy and Ashley Huneycutt. Burial will follow at the Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 406 Renee Ford Road, Locust.

Reba was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was at her happiest when she was with her family.  Reba loved being outdoors, especially fishing at the lake and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed making quilts and afghans. Reba traveled frequently and visited most of the states with her loving husband Grady. Reba will be greatly missed by all and has now entered into arms of the Lord.

Survivors include daughter, Barbara Kay Huneycutt of Locust, NC, son, Gary Wayne (Kendra) Tucker of Locust, daughter, Tammy Tucker (Ron) Lutwiller of Locust, sister, Carolyn Smith of Oakboro, sister, Bobbie Sedberry of Stanfield, NC, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Carolina Presbyterian Church of Locust.
