Rayvon Brattain

Rayvon Brattain, 81 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at Carolina's Specialty Hospital in Pineville .

Mr. Brattain was born March 19, 1933 in Stanly County to the late Marshall Brattain and the late Sadie Eudy Brattain . He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mable Virginia Christy Brattain, and a brother Junior Brattain.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th at 1 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home Midland chapel. Burial will follow at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include daughters; Carol B. (Larry) Meadors, Kim Brattain both of Oakboro, Tammy (Neal) Clayton of Albemarle, brothers; Harlen (Kay) Brattain, Jerry (Becky) Brattain both of Locust, sisters; Jeanette Hartsell, Nancy Eudy , Loretta (Ray) Barbee all of Locust, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren,.
