Ray Lowe

Ray Vaughn Lowe, 64, of Concord, lost his battle with ALS on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A graveside service, officiated by Reverend Mark Murphy, will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Ray was born on June 15, 1947 in Iredell County to Thelma Wells Chastain and the late Vaughn McKinley Lowe. He retired early from G&S Heating & Air in Kannapolis. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kepley Lowe; three children, Bobby Stewart of Concord, Lisa Walker of Rockwell and Tricia Scaffe of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
