Ray Cline

Ray Bond Cline, 96, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Five Oaks Manor.

Ray was born July 16, 1926, in Concord to the late William Alexander Cline and the late Cora Jane Bonds Cline.  He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years, Billie Doris Little Cline; daughter, Cathy Faith Wayne; and several siblings.

Ray retired as a carpenter from Craftsmen Construction Company.  He was a loving father, brother and grandfather.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:45 am, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Clark Remsburg, Jr.  Burial will follow at Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Concord.

Survivors include his son, Tony Ray Cline and wife, Eva; sister, Rachel Untz; four grandchildren, John Coe Wayne, Lisa Cline Rinehart, Eric Von Cline, and Billy Ray Cline; 13 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
