New London

Randy Edwin Isenhour, 71, of New London, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Preston House Memory Care.

Randy was born on May 26, 1954, in Albemarle to the late Joe Kenneth Isenhour and Doris Roxie Mae Gurley Isenhour.

Randy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose family was the center of his world. He loved deeply and selflessly, always putting those he cared about before himself. Some of his greatest joys in life were the simple moments spent with family, sharing stories, laughing together, and making memories that will be treasured forever.

Known for his playful spirit, Randy loved joking and teasing with friends and family, always finding ways to make others laugh. His warmth, humor, and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Randy had a deep love for old country music, and some of the family’s fondest memories are of him teaching those classic songs to his granddaughters and listening proudly as they sang along beside him. He also loved traveling and was proud to have visited nearly all 50 states, creating countless memories and adventures along the way. One of Randy’s greatest passions was riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with his beloved wife, Joyce. Together, they enjoyed the freedom of the open road, traveling, making memories, and sharing countless adventures side by side.

Randy retired from Jordan Lumber Company after many years as a dedicated truck driver. Prior to that, he worked as a skilled brick mason, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic, hard work, and unwavering dedication to providing for his family.

He will be remembered for his love, laughter, hard work, and the countless memories he created with those who loved him most!
