Rachel Geneva (Griffin) Aldridge, age 83, of Norwood, N.C., died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, N.C. Aldridge was employed by Scotti's, Norwood, NC. The family meeting place is at her home.. . She was the daughter of the late William Griffin and the late Annie (Anderson) Griffin. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Cathy A. Cash & husband Dana of Greer, S.C., Denise A. Campbell & husband Gary of Concord, N.C., Sherry A. Lowder & husband Kelley of Norwood, N.C. One Son, Donnie Griffin Aldridge & wife Jeanette of Wadesboro, N.C. Grandchildren Keith Aldridge, Kim Aldridge, Shaye and Jessica Cash Great Grandson Jacob Love Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2009. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel - Albemarle at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2009 , Mike Burris officiating. Interment will be at Smith's Grove Primitive Bapt Church Cemetery, in Oakboro, N.C.
