Peggy Kepley Morton, 87, of Albemarle, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Mrs. Morton was born on December 27, 1936, to the late J.V. and Corinthia Lambert Kepley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Union Grove Baptist Church, 20514 NC 138, Albemarle, NC 28001, officiated by Rev. Jerry Mabry and Rev. Jeremy Blake. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include husband of 67 years, Glenn Morton; daughter, Glenda M. Corl; granddaughters, Keisha Corl, Candace Clarke; great-grandchildren, Audrey Walker, Vance Walker; sister, Rachel Turner; sister-in-law, Louvine Bowers.
