Peggy Gibbons

Peggy Palmer Gibbons, 72 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018.

Peggy was born August 15, 1945 in Stanly County, to the late Claude and Callie Palmer.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Brownie Gibbons; brother, Billy Joe Palmer; and sister, Betty P. Lambert.

Survivors include nephews, Michael (Pat) Lowder and Dwight (Kaffa) Hall; 6 great nieces and nephews; and 9 great-great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 12 pm, Monday, January 29, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, 12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, officiated by Rev. Meghan McSwain. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Peggy will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 20987 NC 73 Hwy, Albemarle.
