Pearleene Rosada Knight

Pearleene Rosada Sasser Knight of Marshville, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at her home in Marshville.

Pearleene was born June 19 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Dennie Alvin Sasser and the late Rosada Bunn Sasser. 
She was also preceded in death by son, Darrell Bowers; sisters, Paulette Dixon and Tootsie Burleson; and brother, Dennie Alvin Sasser, Jr.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 11:00 am at Porter Community Cemetery in Norwood officiated by Chris Helms. Burial and visitation will immediately follow at the Porter Community Cemetery at Swaringen Rd, Norwood.

Survivors include husband of 48 years, Donald Wayne Knight of the home; children, Karen Greene of Badin, NC, Wayne Dale Bowers of Albemarle, NC, Wendell Bowers and family of Albemarle, NC, Adam (Alicia) Greene of Waxhaw, NC, and Misty Kelli (Scott) Kimrey of Florida; grandchildren, Holly (Scott), Whitney (Bud), Tara (Daniel) and Dwayne; great grandchildren, Logan, Brooklyn, Corbin, Diesel, Ella, Talan, Jackson, Autumn and Nova; sisters, Anita Dennis, Gay Harkey, and Monica Garland; nephew, Jodie Dennis and family and Gaston Harkey and family; and niece, Katie Hinson and family.

Pearleene loved the beach and enjoyed going to the mountains for just a few days at a time - not a whole week. She loved her grandchildren more than anything else! She also loved her cats.
