Pearl Wallace

Pearl Jane Chandler Wallace, 98, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, December 04, 2012 at Bethany Woods and Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. David Nolan, will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church, New London, on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Pearl was born on August 24, 1914, to the late Frank Chandler and the late Callie Chandler. She is survived by one brother, John Chandler of Albemarle and a sister, Bertha Austin of Albemarle. Memorials may be made to Bethel UMC, 44118 NC 740 Hwy, New London, NC 28127.
