Paula Claud

Paula Caye Ross Claud, 54, of Locust, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at Universal Health Care in Concord. Ms. Claud was born February 23, 1958 in Japan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Clarence Claud, III; her father, Woodrow Bryan Ross; her mother, Odessa Ward Ross; and her brother, Charles Ross. She was an administrative assistant at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte. She served as an Elder, sang in the choir and taught Sunday School at Locust Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 16, at Locust Presbyterian Church, 607 West Main Street in Locust, N. C. The receiving of friends will be in the fellowship hall after the service. Survivors include her sister, Nancy Cyr, in Powder Springs, Georgia; her nephews, Larry Mitchell Stacy in Ash, N. C., Terry Harold Stacy, and Charles Bryan Ross both of Whiteville, NC; and her niece, Francis Ruth Ross Harper, also of Whiteville.
