Patsy Colene Burgess

Patsy Colene Burgess, 94, of Marshville, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe.

Mrs. Burgess was born June 7, 1932, in Union County, North Carolina to the late George Washington Little and the late Carrie Grace Little.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Lee Burgess, son, Kenneth Todd Burgess, sister, Betty Helen Gaddy, sister, Geraldine Austin, sister, Estalene Little.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Smith Grove Community Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Ed Lowder.

Survivors include daughter, Kimberly (Donald Vance) Parker of Polkton, NC, granddaughter, Jamie (Kerry Michael) Austin of Polkton, NC.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Burgess family.
