Patricia Kealon

Patricia E. Kealon, 48, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019.

Patricia was born January 4, 1971 in New York to the late Lionel and Sylvia Mendez.

Patricia was a scholar, practically a genius.  She was passionate about school and education.  She loved animals, traveling and shopping.  Patricia was very creative and artistic.  She enjoyed drawing, writing, reading, singing and dancing.  Patricia was a devoted wife and mother.  She will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include beloved husband of 22 years, Gene Kealon, Jr.; three children, Jaden, Jynel, and Jared Kealon; mother, Sylvia Mendez; sister, Lisa (Chris) Nadelbach; brother, Geoffrey "Butch" (Marcella) Mendez; sister, Bridget (Parnell) Judge; brother, Lionel "Chuck" Mendez; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm - 4:15 pm, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Friday at 4:30 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Gardner Kealon.

Patricia had a very colorful personality.  Please join us by wearing bright colors as we celebrate her life.
