Patricia Ritchie Fesperman

Patricia Ritchie Fesperman, 69, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her home in Albemarle.

She was born on November 1, 1956, in North Carolina to Claud and Rosa Ritchie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Rosa Ritchie, and her brother Ron Ritchie. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Jack Fesperman of Albemarle, and 3 sons and 4 grandchildren Daniel Fesperman, Smyrna GA, Mark Fesperman (Megan, Ryan, Devin, Samantha) of Clover SC and Jason Fesperman (Dan, Daniel) of Maggie Valley NC. She is also survived by her sister Brenda Gerolstein (Paul) of Marietta GA and brother Lewis Ritchie (Peg) of Greensboro NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home 522 N. 2nd Street Albemarle NC 28001. The memorial service will be 6:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Albemarle 202 N 2nd St Albemarle NC 28001 and will be officiated by Dr. Kendell Cameron.

Pat retired in February 2024 after 33 years at the Stanly County Tax Collectors Office. She was known by many for her smile and loving personality. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, hanging out at the pool and spending time at her favorite place, the beach. She also enjoyed watching the birds and tending her rose bushes.

Memorials can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Cancer Society Relay for Life in her honor in lieu of flowers.
