Patricia Burleson

Patricia "Pat" Louise Honeycutt Burleson , 70 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, at her daughter's home in Albemarle.

Pat was born January 31, 1945 in Clearwater, Florida to the late Julius Franklin Honeycutt and the late Helen Scott Flowers. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard (Brian) Burleson.

Pat was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked in textile manufacturing.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home of her son, Jeff Burleson, 20547 Sam Road in Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the church, and will be officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include sons, Jeff C. Burleson and wife Jill Burleson of Albemarle and Larry D. Burleson and special friend Cathy Burris of New London; daughter, Heather Burleson Lambert and husband Jerry Wayne Lambert, Jr. of Albemarle; grandchildren, Regina, Angie, Justin, Jordan, Ashley, Nikki, Jacob Burleson, Megan Burleson Mabry, Caleb Smith and Skylar Thompson; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Lindsey Curtis of Mooresville; and brother, Don Brooks of Enochville.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and The Uwharrie, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001 or Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro, NC 28129.
