Nezzie Dennis Hopkins

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Nezzie Dennis Hopkins, age 71, of Palestine, has passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, with her family by her side.

Nezzie was born April 3, 1955, in Palestine, North Carolina to the late Gerald Littleton Dennis and the late Bertha Mae Dennis. She was also preceded in death by son, Ricky Allen Hopkins.

Survivors include husband, Ricky "Big Rick" Hopkins of Albemarle, NC, son, Ricky (Brandy) Chad Hopkins of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Heather Hopkins, Justin Hopkins, Megan Hopkins, Dakota Hopkins, Kayden Hopkins, Skylar Hopkins, Ella Hopkins, and Jacob Hopkins; brother, Gerald Dean Dennis, sister, Nancy Kirk of Concord, NC, sister, Patricia Ann Dennis, sister, Virginia Dennis, sister, and Jane Hargett of New London, NC.; nieces, Debbie Wright, Lori Coley, Kim Hopkins and Becky Staton; nephews, Jacky Gwen, Joshua Hopkins and Noah Page.
