Nettie Butler

Nettie Esterlain Butler, 84, of Concord, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Charlotte.

Mrs. Butler was born June 6, 1938, in South Carolina to the late Willie Davis Lee and the late Clara Bell Lee.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Albert Butler, and brother Wilbur Lee.

Nettie was known for spending time with her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grand grandchildren. She enjoyed  fishing, traveling, and planning special holiday gatherings for her family. She served faithfully in her church for her entire adult life.  She was married to her high school sweetheart for 66 years.  Her family now has reassurance  in the fact that she is completely healed and rejoicing with her Lord and Savior.Nettie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 11:45 am, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow  at 12:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord  officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery located at 100 Pine Grove Church Rd., Concord.

Survivors include son, Jimmy Lynn (Ann) Butler of Concord, NC, daughter, Sharon Elaine (Ronnie) Henderson of Charlotte, NC, sisters, Elsie Smith and Sylvia Harrelson, brothers, Davis Lee, Earl Lee, Larry  Lee, granddaughters, Holly Adams, Kim Burgin, Amanda Henry, Amy Miller, grandsons, Nick Henderson, and James Butler, and 11 great Grandchildren
