Minnie Ruth Crisco Rollings, 86, formally of Jefferson South Carolina, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Minnie was born September 3, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Ollie Lee Crisco and the late Isadora Harris Crisco. She was also preceded in death by husband, Clyde Rollings, brothers, Melvin (Edna) Brunson Crisco and Otis (Teen) Lee Crisco.
She grew up in Oakboro, NC and went on to make her career in the textile industry working many years at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis, NC. Minnie moved to Jefferson, SC in 1989 when she married Clyde Rollings. She and Clyde loved dancing, traveling, and socializing with family and friends. Gardening in their yard and taking care of their home brought each of them great pleasure for the almost 30 years they had together.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle 522 North 2nd St. Albemarle, NC, 28001. The funeral service follow at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Jonathan Waits. Burial will be at the Smith Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 25711 Old School Road, Oakboro.
Survivors include nieces, Beverly C. Baucom, Rita Crisco, Sharon C. (Todd) Hartmann, and nephew Mark Crisco; great- nieces and nephews, Michael Baucom, Julia York, Joshua Hartmann, Cory Hartmann, Collin (Sarah) Hartmann, and Caitlin Webb; Step-children; Maxie (Cathy) Rollins, Tonya Rollins; step- grandchildren, Travis Rollins, Nick Rollins, Ashley Atkinson; and many loved ones.
And a special thanks to her caregivers and staff at Trinity Place Albemarle and Hospice of Stanly County.
