Mildred Troutman Starnes, 85, of 323 Windrose Lane SW, Concord died August 26, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Starnes was born February 17, 1924. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters, Linn Troutman Hartsell and husband, James, Rita Troutman Hartsell and friend, Tim Lunsford all of Concord and Janice Troutman Douglas of Locust; longtime friend and father of her children, Junior Robinson Troutman; grandchildren, Jerry Browning, Richard and Brad Carroll, Stormy Douglas, David Wilder, Shanna Brumbaugh, Amanda Lambert, Amy and Cecilia Wentz and Stacey Troutman; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by daughters, Connie Browning and Deborah Wentz and son, Alvin Troutman.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, with the Rev. Tommy Lambert officiating. Interment will be at Harrisburg Baptist Church, Harrisburg.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Friday, August 28 at Hartsell Funeral Home.
