Mildred Hinson

Mildred Howard Hinson, 89 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Mildred was born August 31, 1927 in Stanly County, NC to the late Clifford Howard and the late Bertie Howard.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Horace Hinson; her son Douglas Hinson; as well as her brothers Boyd Howard and Doyle Howard.
Survivors include her granddaughters, Sarah Hinson of Concord, NC, and Rebecca Hinson of Pensacola, FL.
Mildred retired from the Admitting Department at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
A graveside funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 1:00pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Concord, officiated by Rev. Tim Newton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cabarrus County Meals on Wheels.
