Michele Ann Walser Komendat

Michele Ann Walser Komendat, 64, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026.

Michele was born January 5, 1961, in Buffalo, New York, to the late Richard Dwayne Walser and the late Christa Elise Müssig Walser.

Michele played varsity sports all throughout high school. She excelled in swimming and soccer. She was a graduate of the University at Buffalo and studied abroad in Germany. She's a die-hard Bills fan and always loved coming home to visit family and friends in Buffalo. Michele also loved going to Oak Island with her friend, Lourie. She was an avid reader and dog mom. She enjoyed Thirsty Thursdays at Three Monkeys Tavern & Grill. Michele was an amazing mother, but even better human being. She was good-hearted and always willing to help everyone.

Survivors include daughter, Christina Komendat; son, Kyle Komendat (fiancée, McKayla DeBord); brothers, Eric Walser, Brian Walser, Robert (Marie) Walser, and Anthony Walser; sister, Sharlene Walser; nieces and nephews, Alexis and Adam (Sydney) Walser, Isaiah (Marisa) Snyder, James and Gabriel Walser, and Tyler and Autumn Walser.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Levine Cancer Institute- "Carolinas Leukemia Research Fund" or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
