Michael David Robinson

Michael David Robinson, born June 27, 1984, in Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was the cherished son of Sheri (Greene) Robinson and Gary Robinson.

Michael was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose kindness, humor, and thoughtful nature touched the lives of many. Known for his generous spirit and big heart, he had a remarkable ability to make others smile.

A lifelong lover of baseball, Michael played competitively throughout his school years and carried that passion with him throughout his life. He also enjoyed music and movies, and he found great joy in cooking-especially when it came to making his famous ribs. Those who knew him well will fondly remember seeing him with one of his favorite treats: a Peach Nehi soda in hand.

Michael is survived by his parents, Gary Robinson (Kathy) and Sheri Robinson; and by his sister, Kristen, and her husband, Scott. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A service of remembrance will be held at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 416 N. 2nd Street, Albemarle, NC 28001, on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11am.

Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by his kindness and love.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michael’s honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
