Michael Bowers

Michael "Bones" Eugene Bowers, 62 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System Main in Charlotte.

Mr. Bowers was born September 13, 1955 in Stanly County to the late Eugene Bowers and Janet Chance Bowers.  In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Kelly Rummage.

Bones owned and operated Bowers Body Shop for almost 30 years.  His favorite pastime was hunting.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on  Monday, January 29, 2018 at 4:00 PM Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Brian Burris.

Survivors include wife of 33 years, Debbie Bowers of Albemarle; son, Chris Bowers; and brother, Rick Bowers both of Norwood.

Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle is serving the Bowers family.
