Mrs. Melvia Lowder Helms, 91 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at The Brian Center, Concord, NC.

The family received friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, October 24, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Bogers Chapel United Methodist Church in Concord officiated by Rev. Donald Lisk. Burial followed at the Bogers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
