Mary Hellwig

Mary Eleanor Hellwig, 95, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home   in Charlotte NC.

Mary was born October 29, 1927, in North Carolina to the late Earle Plyler and the late Eleanor Plyler.

She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Gus Hellwig

Mary was an accomplished artist and had a special love for people. She was strong in her faith and was a member of Northside Baptist Church for 20 years. Mary always wore a smile on her face and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held later.

Survivors include daughter, Cindy (Luis) Gil of Charlotte, NC., granddaughter, Carlie Gil, grandson, Bryce Gil.
