Marie Dumas

Marie Louise Viviano Dumas, 72, of Midland, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast in Concord. Mrs. Dumas was born September 17, 1940 in Terrytown, New York to the late, Ralph Viviano and Louise Percilla Viviano. The family will receive friends from 3 – 4 p.m., Thursday, October 18, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. at St. James the Greater Catholic Church at 139 Manor Avenue Southwest in Concord. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her husband, John Randolph VanLew; her sons, Douglas Pilla of Jupiter, Florida, Dennis Pilla of Tequesta, Florida, Robert Dumas of Midland, and Jason Dumas of Danbury, Connecticut; her daughter, Allyson Dumas of Danbury, Connecticut; her brother, Ralph Viviano of Florida; and four grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Dumas family.
