Marcell Moore

Marcell Lowder Moore, 91, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020.

Marcell was born September 3, 1928 in Stanly County to the late Jasper E. Lowder, Sr. and the late Sallie Katherine Doby Lowder.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Bruce Moore; brothers Hoyle Lowder, Jasper Lowder, Jr and Kenny Lowder.

Marcell was never a mother but was a mother to many.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial Park 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle. The service will be officiated by Pastor Monty Clark.

Survivors include nieces, Sherry Turbutt and husband Robert, Jackie Almond, and Kitty Coley; sister-in-law, Carolyn T. Lowder; numerous great nieces and nephews and also great great nieces and nephews.
