Lucy Eldora Payne Taylor, 84, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. The service will be held at a later date. She was born on September 18, 1928, in Mecklenburg County, to the late John Albert Payne and the late Ellie Suggs Payne. Ms. Taylor is survived by one daughter, Cindy Taylor of Albemarle. Memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 101 Willow Creek Drive, Stanfield, NC 28163.
