Louise Parker

Louise Parker, 83, of Stanfield, NC passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was born July 23, 1939 in Albemarle, North Carolina to the late Jim and Radie McManus.

Louise was a great mother, grandmother, role model, and follower of Christ. She loved unconditionally, and set the standard and example of how someone should live their life. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she cherished every moment with them.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Reverend Glenn Parker (of 46 years); daughter, Shenise Parker; son, Johnny Harold Parker, son, Anthony Matthew Parker, sister, Jeanette Grindstaff; and great grandson Little Ricky.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland, in Midland, officiated by Reverend David Sanders and Kevin Johnson. Burial will follow at the Oakboro Cemetery at 1397 North Main Street, Oakboro.

Survivors include daughter, Eloise (Carson) Deese; sister, Patricia Pressley, granddaughter, Jamie (Ricky) Glover, grandson, Alan (Ruby) Deese, granddaughter, Anna (Bryan) Williams, granddaughter, Madison Parker, many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
